PROFILE
Profile An accomplished football professional in Ghana/Nigeria with a near 20-year career in the game. I had a significant impact across the football industry after retiring from the field. Later, I made the transition into talent identification and combined the role of consultancy. Alongside the global experience gained across a number of other roles. As an experienced professional I am highly knowledgeable, commercially astute and offer a tactically innovative point of leadership to a club or football organisation seeking forward thinking direction. My goal is to evaluate the skills of athletes to determine their fitness and technical ability. I also show relentless energy to develop and progress every individual I work with.

An accomplished football professional with a near 40 year career in the game, David has
had a significant impact across multiple areas of the industry since retiring from the field.
A league title and European Cup winner with Liverpool, David initially made the
transition into football agency and talent identification – unearthing a number of talented
young players that helped both his own and other businesses exceed £1million in
revenue.
Combined with these roles, he has also assumed control of Darlington FC on three
separate occasions as First Team Manager – not only repeatedly securing the club’s
League Two status under strict financial restrictions, but also generating critical
funds through the development and re-sale of several free signings.
Alongside the global experience gained across a number of other roles, David offers a
highly knowledgeable, commercially astute and tactically innovative point of
leadership to a club or football organisation seeking forward thinking direction.
MEET GARY BENNETT
Gary Ernest Bennett MBE is an English former professional footballer. A defender, he began his career with Manchester City before moving on to Cardiff City in 1981. In 1984, Bennett joined Sunderland, and he went on to make over 350 appearances for the club, placing him fifth on the club’s all-time appearance list. He left Sunderland in 1995, after eleven years at the club, and later played for Carlisle United, Scarborough, and Darlington. During his career, he made over 600 appearances in the Football League, scoring 61 times.
In August 2000, he was appointed manager of Darlington, having previously been in charge of the reserve team at the club. He spent 14 months in charge of the club before returning to his role as reserve team manager but left the club in May 2002. Bennett is also actively involved with the Show Racism the Red Card campaign and was inducted into the organisation’s hall of fame in 2004
